MON 08 MAR	March Open Meeting The March Open meeting will take place at SHAW'S BRIDGE. With the new season swiftly approaching this evening is intended to act as a reminder of the laws concerning one day cricket. It will take the form of a team competition and will be organised the vice-chairman Trevor Magee.

FRI 09 APR	Annual Dinner Annual Dinner at Newforge Country Club This will be our 60^th Anniversary celebration Dinner and it is hoped that all members will make a big effort to attend and bring at least one guest in order to make it an evening to remember. We are also hoping to engage the support of the NCU and it’s member clubs. Our target will be 150+. We are pleased to announce that former International Rugby referee Brian Sterling has agreed to be our guest speaker. Brian's sons Richard and Paul both feature in our local cricket and Paul is now a member of the Irish U19 and full International squads. He is a reputed after dinner speaker and we look forward to having him on this special occasion.

Past Events

MON 12 OCT	Annual General Meeting The associations Annual General Meeting will take place at Shaw's Bridge at 7:30 on Monday 12th October 2009. Included as an extension to the meeting agenda will be the launch of our new web-site.

SUN 25 OCT	IACUS Executive Meeting The Executive Committee are meeting on Sunday at the Ballymascanlon Hotel, Dundalk to finalise plans for the conference and to discuss the introduction of new field clothing for the use of umpires in 2010. NIACUS will be represented at this meeting by Alan Waugh, Murray Power & Mark Hawthorne.
